Planting with Spirit

Born from Maroons quilombo a gave birth to capoeira, sacred grooves, radical farming, and freedom school . These settlements founded by Afrikans for Afrikans. Quilombos were not only refuges But a space for radical brave space also know as “ war camps”. This is radical Afrikan farming that leads with spirit 

When we say quilombo farming we are farming hand + hand with our brave ancestors, using Afrikan/ Blakk farming techniques and calling in the spirits of our plants , naming its closest relatives, plants and rootworkers + bush doctors that have worked beside them for generations. 

We give honor to mother Earth and the ancestors that live underneath the soil., the Orisha + Lwa that live in the crust of the Earth

This is a 8 week virtual journey through the ancient traditions of Vodou + Hoodoo and Blak/Caribbean farming traditions , interactive bi-weekly farming conjure sessions.

This program will take you through a journey of Re- membering, breaking through mental enslavement, and inviting the spirit of ancient wisdom, storytelling, Blk farming, Land Sovereignty, Herbalism, Rootwork and the truest knowledge of these traditions


You will experience Hoodoo and Vodou rituals that you can add to your farming practices, learn Vodou songs to works the land, learn common sustainable practices for crop production on small acreage farms, ways to manage soils that create an environment that encourages soil microbial growth and plant growth, how to communicate and work with the spirits and so much more!


We are anchored in sharing land, resources, skills, labor, and healing modalities, to explore new approaches to healing the whole spectrum of the human condition. We are grounded in advancing the healing and elevation of our communities, our lineages, our descendants, healing ancestral trauma and cultivating generational healing and reconnection.
