8 Week Virtual hands on Vodou + Hoodoo Farming Program

The sacred practice of honoring and paying homage to one's ancestors or familial predecessors. This practice is deeply rooted in various cultures and spiritual traditions around the world. One way to honor and elevate our ancestors is through a neven and a libera - a sacred 9 DAY prayer (neven) that ends with a gathering to LIBERATE (libera) the ancestors. Rituals like these help bring forth of deliverance, prosperity & abundance throughout the lineage or lakou, as well as help strengthen the relationship between you and your ancestors. Please join us for a communal version of this offering - a 9 day Ancestral Gede Community Altar in Boston, as an opportunity to venerate those that walk this journey with us and walked before us. This altar will consist of a variety of offerings being set for the ancestors, with their photos placed and their names being recited during a powerful prayer on the 9th day with a public community reception to follow.

It is believed that through ritual and offerings, practitioners can establish a connection with Ginen and the spirits that dwell there, seeking their guidance + protection and reinforces the belief in the continuity of ancestral wisdom and spiritual traditions.
